He's drinking Johnny Walker straight out of the bottle, and makes a big deal of offering some to me in front of everyone. He's probably thinking about what a huge nerd I was in high school, or has noticed that I'm not drinking much at the party.

I've never cooked a whole ham before, I just buy the wimpy pre-sliced chunks.

Suggestions solicited, as long as they don't involve pineapple.

Google has a lot of stew and roast recipes, which my wife won't touch, because it tastes like game meat.
